Media Release - Welcome to the team, Naomi!
The Travel Better Project is pleased to welcome Research Officer, Naomi Ploos van Amstel, to the team.
Naomi has a passion for bringing nature and communities together and provides invaluable research support to The Travel Better Project.
With an academic background in nature conservation policy, she has worked on several research projects globally. Naomi is a current PhD student at Griffith University.
Media Release - AMP Foundation SPARK 2023 Award
The Travel Better Project was selected as one of 13 awardees to take part in the ‘Tomorrow Makers’ SPARK 2023 program out of a competitive pool of more than 800 applicants.
The program wrapped up on 6 December 2023 with a showcase event held at the AMP offices in Circular Quay, Sydney with more than 150 investors and stakeholders in the social enterprise sector attending the event.

Media Release - WWF Australia 'Innovate to Regenerate' Challenge Award
The Travel Better Project has been awarded seed funding from WWF-Australia through its Innovate to Regenerate Challenge.
One of 25 early-stage social enterprises supported by the Challenge, The Travel Better Project will use the funds to further develop and test the concept with tourism operators.

TICT conference presentation in Tasmania
Founder, Emma Pethybridge, is leading two interactive sessions at the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania's annual conference about The Six Dimensions of Positive Impact Tourism.
In this workshop, tourism businesses will learn how to apply regenerative travel principles to their products and experiences to diversify, create new value and have a positive impact where they operate.
